Shipping policy

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to the following locations:

  • United States: All 50 states.
  • Canada: All provinces and territories.

At this time, we do not ship to other international destinations or P.O. Boxes/APO/FPO addresses.


2. Processing & Delivery Times

We strive to get your order to you quickly. Our delivery process consists of two parts:

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
  • Estimated Delivery Time: Once shipped, orders generally arrive within 5–9 business days.

Please note that delivery dates are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Factors such as customs processing (for Canadian orders), extreme weather, or carrier delays may impact these timelines.


3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.

  • No Free Shipping: We do not currently offer free shipping. All orders will have shipping fees applied at the time of checkout.
  • Canada Orders: Customers in Canada are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees that may be assessed by customs upon arrival. These fees are not included in our shipping rates.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email containing your tracking number.

  • Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update after you receive your notification.
  • You can monitor your package's progress directly through the carrier’s website using the provided link.

5. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your purchase.

  • If you notice an error in your address, contact us immediately at [Insert Support Email].
  • We cannot change the delivery address once an order has been processed or shipped.
  • Modern Earth Market is not responsible for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

6. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

  • Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged product and packaging.
  • Missing Packages: If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you cannot find it, please check with neighbors or your local post office first.
  • Liability: Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, Modern Earth Market is no longer responsible for the package. We recommend shipping to a secure location.

7. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments

If a shipment is refused at the time of delivery or remains unclaimed at a local postal outlet and is returned to us:

  • We will issue a refund for the products once they are received back in original condition.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Any return shipping fees charged to us by the carrier will be deducted from your refund.
