Return & Refund Policy

At Modern Earth Market, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we are here to help.


1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for your item(s). If 30 days have passed since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in its original packaging with all seals intact.
  • Due to the nature of wellness and personal care products, we cannot accept returns for items that have been opened or used for health and safety reasons.

Non-returnable items include: Opened supplements or topical products, gift cards, and sale items.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at info@modernearthmarket.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on where to send your package.
  3. Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping & Canadian Orders

  • Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Canadian Returns: Return shipping from Canada can be costly. Customers in Canada are responsible for all return shipping costs, as well as any customs, duties, or brokerage fees. We strongly encourage Canadian customers to contact us at info@modernearthmarket.com before shipping items back to discuss potential alternatives like store credit.
  • Tracking: We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund via email.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
  • Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (e.g., items with signs of use or items not in their original condition for reasons not due to our error).

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at info@modernearthmarket.com within 5 days of delivery. Please include your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.
